Vice Admiral Anil Chopra has the unique distinction of being the only admiral of the Indian Navy to have been the Commander-in-Chief of both the operational commands-- the Western and the Eastern Naval Command. He was also Chief of the Indian Coast Guard.

He has commanded the Navy’s sword-arm, the Western Fleet; the aircraft carrier INS Viraat, the missile destroyer INS Rajput, and the missile corvette INS Kuthar.

He is a member of the apex Defence Acquisition Council for three years and he was involved with the evolution of the Defence Procurement Procedure, and the Defence Industrial Base.

He retired in 2015 after 40 years of Service to the Indian Defense Forces and joined the Moloobhoy Advisory Board in 2016. The Moloobhoy family is honored to be affiliated with him.

Mr. Pinto has had an illustrious career in Indian Civil Service for over 3 decades. He was the Director General (DG) of Shipping and helped formulate the National Shipping Policy that encouraged private investments in the Indian Maritime Sector.

As Chairman of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port he was mainly responsible for the growth and investment in the port during his tenure. Mr. Pinto also served as the "Secretary" of the Shipping Ministry, and "Vice Chairman" of the Council of the IMO during his working years, before retirement.

Mr. Pinto has a Masters degree in Public Administration from Harvard University. His major assignments include being CEO of MIDC, MD of MSRTC, Chairman and MD of Handicrafts and Handlooms Export Corporation of India, Chairman of MSEB, Minister, (Economic) Embassy of India, Paris.

After his superannuation Mr. Pinto was asked to chair the Committee that prepared Maharashtra's case to be presented to the 12th Finance Commission. Later he was appointed Vice Chairman of the National Commission for Minorities in the rank of Union Minister of State.

Capt Navin Passey is the Chairman of the Board at Wallem India. Earlier he was Managing Director of Wallem Ship Management (India)Pvt Ltd. He is also the Global Head of Wallem training and welfare. Capt Passey is the Chairman of Foreign Shipowners Association and also the Chairman of Foreign Owners Representatives and Ship Managers Association. He is member of Govt. of India’s Task Force on Infrastructure Development & Mega Projects; Director, ICSW Asia; BOG, Indian Institute of Maritime Studies; BOD, Norwegian Business Association of India; Member of Advisory Board (Asia) DNV Sea Skills Committee; Member of several Indian Parliamentary and Ministerial committees on shipping related matters; Panel Member of several Trade Delegations & Conferences; Trustee of The Maritime Floating Staff Welfare Trust and Member of Govt of India Welfare Board.

Nilesh Ganjwala is a Chartered Accountant and veteran with over three decades of industry know-how. He has been a rank holder throughout his Board, University and Chartered Accountancy Examinations. Having spent his entire career in the finance industry, he brings to the fore an insightful perspective about the finer nuances of strategy, finance, taxation and corporate best practices.

He has had successful stints in the professional and consulting arena as well as in the industrial field. He spearheads Innergize Solutions Private Limited, a specialized Business and Strategy Consulting Firm, based in Mumbai and working with medium sized companies across various industries, which is why he is the perfect addition to Moloobhoy's Advisory Board.

Mr. SABYASACHI HAJARA was the Chairman and Managing Director of the Shipping Corporation of India, Moloobhoy's biggest Customer since its inauguration, till date.

SCI is India’s largest and most diversified shipping company. At the time of Mr. Hajara's superannuation, the company had a total fleet of 78 ships of about 6 Million DWT, turnover of approximately US$ 811.68 million and Gross asset value of US$ 2405.12 million. In 2008 under his leadership, SCI achieved the "Navratna" status from the Govt. of India.

After retiring from SCI in 2012, Mr. Hajara joined A. S. Moloobhoy's Advisory Board in 2016 and has been a very valuable member of the extended Moloobhoy family ever since.

Mrs. Sharmila Karve, a qualified Chartered Accountant was until recently, the Diversity & Inclusion Leader for the PwC Global network and was on the Global Leadership Team and the Global Human Capital Team of PWC.

She started her career with the CA firm of Lovelock & Lewes and was one of the youngest and one of the first woman to be admitted to the partnership, in 1997.

In 2007,she was appointed as the Ethics and Business Conduct Leader in Lovelock & Lewes and was also elected to the Partnership Oversight Committee (POC) which is responsible for governance and oversight. In 2009, post Satyam, she took over as the Head of Audit, representing the firm in various interactions with SEBI, SFIO, MCA, SEC, PCOAB etc. In 2012, she took over as the Head of Risk & Quality.

In her various roles, in Price Waterhouse she was the engagement partner for some of largest clients of the firm - both Indian and multinational in Insurance, Telecom, FMCG and Services Industries.
