Electronic Service
Service, is the most challenging aspect of our business. We have a back-office team of fluent English speaking co-ordinators. They work round the clock to keep vigil on emails and Text messages. The responsibility of co-ordinating and communicating with a customer lies with them and they also handle the sale of spares.
They are responsible for the deputation of engineers, arranging passes, tool kits, travel and accommodation when an engineer is out station. Our customer support team is expected to keep in touch with all ships’ agents for information on ETA and ETD (attendance) of vessels, thereby ensuring that there are no unattended service calls and dissatisfied customers.
Some of their responsibilities include: SBMCs (Shore Based Maintenance Contracts), AMCs (Annual Maintenance Contract), Warranty jobs, service and supply of spares, invoicing and billing. It is indeed a 24 x 7 x 365 job.
