Moloobhoys is renowned for having more than substantial inventory of all OEM products and spares distributed at all our branches, warehouses, bonded warehouses and on campus at our Head Office – at any given time. This gives us the ability to ensure timely and swift deliveries at any port of call.
We are proud of our nationwide “stock-on-line” capability, which was customized for us by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). This online software, installed and available at all our branches and head office us instant and direct stock checking at any location.
We follow the FIFO (first in first out) system of inventory management, supervised and monitored by Head Office.
This department ensures that our stock is kept updated, clean and as per our OEM’s stocking requirements. Since we stock all kinds of materials, chemicals, gases and PCBs, we ensure that our storehouses are always well maintained and easily accessible.
We take particular effort to make certain that our delivery boys are always dressed in safety gear with the appropriate safety shoes, gloves, goggles and hard hats when handling equipment. They are all given Moloobhoy uniforms to wear when reporting to work or when conducting a delivery, hence making it easy for Customers to recognize them. The delivery boys also have identity cards and company cell phones that ensure constant communication and monitoring.
We are currently in the process of setting up another state-of-the-art warehousing facility at Mumbai, close to our Head Office campus – something which will be a first of its kind in the Indian marine segment, for inventory storage and coordination.
