EPIRB / SART Division

An EPIRB & SART forms part of the GMDSS requirement needed on board sailing vessels. We at ASM have a state of the art Servicing Centre for these emergency equipments. This department boasts of offloading an EPIRB or SART in the morning and, after servicing, putting it onboard the same day. ASM has a special Logistics team to offload and deliver these equipments all over India and at anchorages. ASMs name has become synonymous with EPIRB & SART servicing and is famous all over India and with Foreign Ships/Companies calling Indian Ports.

The Sale, Programming and Servicing of these two equipments are undertaken by all the Service Stations around India. ASM is proud in having all Batteries directly from the OEM and New Equipment Ex-stock at all times. Orders are also taken to supply new EPIRB & SART anywhere around the world through our Logistics Department for final delivery to the vessel.

Realising that the EPIRB & SART are used exclusively for distress purposes which can save lives, ASM has got a very stringent policy in place to check that all parts, batteries used are genuine and directly imported from the OEMs. For Indian-flag vessels, a Radio Surveyor verifies that the equipment is working and the batteries replaced are genuine.
